How to tell if my LPS is authentic?
The question everyone is asking now that these figures have become so valuable is certainly: "Is mine authentic?" and I can't blame you!
I only have one thing to say: YouTube is your best friend! It's true that a video will never replace a physical comparison of the two figures, but at least it can show you the most obvious signs when it comes to a "rare" figure that may or may not be a copy.
If videos don't help you much or at all, don't hesitate to contact a collector for guidance (my social media accounts can be found on the dedicated page ;)).
If I had to give you a tip regarding the fake registry, I would tell you to visit the website minilpsshop.com which is a small company that specifically makes copies of existing Pet Shops. If you have doubts about the authenticity of one of your LPS, it's probably best to check if there are copies of it first!
